One Day in Kabul

Mental health support for survivors of years of violence in Kabul

One of a kind in Afghanistan

Mental Health|Kabul hospital|Drug dependency unit

Ravaged by years of war, this short film looks at a day in the life of people living in Kabul and how they have been helped by International Medical Corps.

Documenting the destruction, it interviews psychologists working out of the Mental Health Hospital of Kabul, which since January 2011, has run by International Medical Corps. This hospital and the attached drug dependency unit serve as the only public facilities of their kind for the whole of Afghanistan.
