When we think of the Middle East, images of hot, desert conditions come to mind. However, the Middle East is very cold in the winter and vulnerable refugee populations are most at risk during this time of the year. At Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan, International Medical Corps has been helping ease the discomfort of the effects of the severe weather. International Medical Corps volunteers, who are refugees themselves, even took the initiative to help repair tents for susceptible families in the middle of the night!
